Research Interests

The general themes of my research are

* To better understand fundamental questions in eddy covariance theory and technique as well as canopy micrometeorology;

* To better understand the physical and biological processes and principles that govern the exchanges of radiation, heat, water, and trace gases between high-latitude terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere through both modeling and experimental approaches;

* To quantify their temporal and spatial variations in response to climate change and their possible feedbacks.

Keywords for Research Areas: Micrometeorology/Boundary Layer meteorology, Biosphere-Atmosphere Interactions and Climate, High-Latitude Climate Feedbacks.
